Liseberg helps to create special moments when children and young people undergoing treatment at the children’s hospital get a fun break from daily life – at least for a little while.
The Foundation for Drottning Silvias Barnsjukhus (Queen Silvia’s Children’s Hospital) works to create joy for children and families battling illness. In collaboration with Liseberg, the Foundation can spread enjoyment and create environments, experiences and activities for the children’s hospital that bring joy and improve quality of life for children and their families.
Liseberg offers rides and laughter to provide a break from the hospital setting. We also organise a Children’s Hospital Day at Liseberg once a year in collaboration with the Foundation. Children undergoing treatment at Queen Silvia’s Children’s Hospital, along with their families, get free admission and ride passes during this event.
The Liseberg rabbits visit the children’s hospital at least four times a year.
