Frequently asked questions
Here we have gathered answers to questions you may have.
Halloween in Liseberg Park
When you buy a ticket for Halloween in Liseberg Park, the entire park is open with its five haunted houses, attractions, scary areas, restaurants – and Kaninlandet. The opening hours for the entire Liseberg Park are from October 4th to November 3rd.
When you specifically buy tickets for Halloween in Kaninlandet, we have opened Kaninlandet on a few extra days for those who have fall break or other time off and want to experience only Kaninlandet. The Halloween experience in Kaninlandet is exactly the same as when the entire park is open. The extra open days are September 28th to October 3rd and October 14th to 17th, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
There is no age limit to enter the park. (Children under 110 cm get in for free.)
Our house of horrors Vinden, Zombie, and Skogen have an age limit of 11 years. The house of horror 7 has an age limit of 15 years.
They open 3 hours after the park opens.
Yes, you can, but as a visitor, you must be able to identify yourself, which means your entire face cannot be painted. It needs to be clear that you are a visitor. If you dress up too much, with both makeup, clothes, and accessories, you might be mistaken for one of Liseberg’s actors. It’s important for our visitors to know in which areas and at what times there is a risk of being scared and to decide for themselves if they want to be scared.
The following also applies:
- You are not allowed to wear a mask inside our haunted houses.
- You are not allowed to wear a mask that cannot be removed.
- You are never allowed to carry anything that resembles a weapon.
Ultimately, it is our park staff who decide if there are any uncertainties. If you feel unsure, you are welcome to contact our customer service, who can guide you further at [email protected].
Fear is an individual feeling, and it’s difficult to say in advance what might be scary for each person. If you are visiting the park with children who do not want to be scared, we recommend staying in Kaninlandet, Luna Park, and Liseberg’s gardens. These areas focus on the happier aspects of Halloween celebrations: pumpkins, friendly witches, and trick-or-treating. On the way through the park to these areas, there might be some darker elements in the environment, such as music and shadows. Our tip is to always prepare yourself/your child that it might be a little scary during Halloween, but everything you see and encounter at Liseberg is pretend – it’s never really dangerous.
In our two scare zones, Cirkus Bisarr and Shadows of demons, there are actors from 6 PM who might sneak up behind you and give you an extra scare. We always inform you when you are about to enter such an area, so you or your children can choose whether to enter or not.
Admission is included in the Gold Pass but not in the Gold Pass Rabbit.
Ride Pass or Admission+ Ride Pass (entry, unlimited rides, and unlimited visits to the house of horrors for a whole day) can be purchased in the app, on liseberg.se, and on-site in the park.
Single ride and coupons can be bought at the ticket booths in the park and at ticket machines near the house of horrors and attractions.
You always get the best price on liseberg.se
Halloween in Kaninlandet
No, between September 28–October 3 and October 14–17, only Kaninlandet and the Amusement Arcade will be open, and the rest of Liseberg park will be closed.

In light of the general security situation, Liseberg believes that a bag ban can further enhance safety at our public gatherings. Therefore, in consultation with the police, we have decided to implement a bag ban at Liseberg's Stora Scenen during concerts.
No. The bag ban only applies to those attending concerts at Stora Scenen. Concerts at Lilla Scenen are not subject to the bag ban.
All bags and purses are subject to the bag ban. Exceptions can be made for individuals who need to bring a bag for medical reasons. Exceptions are also made for those accompanied by children who need a diaper bag. Allowed bags must be inspected by authorized personnel before entry.
Wallets and small pouches that fit in a pocket are not included in the ban.
Yes, the bag ban also applies to the restaurants Lisebergs Wärdshus and 1923 in connection with concerts at Stora Scenen. If you have booked a menu package for a concert, we advise you to leave your bag at home.

If you are flexible with your visit day, you have the opportunity to get a lower price.
