Here you can find information about accessibility at Liseberg that may be useful to know during your visit. There is information about our rides and attractions, restaurants, washrooms and quiet room.
In the park
Parts of the park are hilly. To get to the upper part of the park, you need to take a steep road that goes from Lisebergsteatern past the rides and attractions in the upper park and over to AtmosFear.
To help you enjoy Luna Park there is a path that is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. This path runs between FlumeRide and the escalator.
At Halloween and Christmas, the park is transformed with decorations, sound and light effects, actors, stalls, pumpkins, Christmas trees and more. This may affect accessibility.
Accessibility on our rides and attractions
The park’s rides comply with various safety regulations. Restraints, seat belts or other safety devices ensure that you sit securely during the ride. These safety systems often impose any restrictions that apply to the height, body shape or disability of riders.
Staff are always on hand at rides to assist guests, and where judgement is needed it is always their responsibility to decide whether you can ride or not. Although unfortunately everyone can’t go on all the rides, we do offer rides for everyone.
Guest Services can always give you guidance on which attractions are suitable for you.
Accessibility in our restaurants
All restaurants at Liseberg have wheelchair access. At the Tyrolen restaurant there are signs indicating a special entrance. Most of the other units such as eateries, shops and wheels-of-fortune are accessible, but there may be thresholds and other obstacles. If you have food allergies, ask the restaurant staff on site for lists of ingredients. They’ll be happy to help.
Washrooms and quiet room
There are first aid supplies and a quiet room at Guest Services at the South Entrance. There is also a large accessible washroom here with a changing table, hoist and shower (sling is not provided). Other washroom units in the park also have at least one toilet that is accessible for wheelchair users.
If you need a wheelchair
There are a few wheelchairs for loan from the Cloakroom at the North entrance if you need one during your visit. If you know beforehand that you need a wheelchair, we recommend you book one via Liseberg’s Bookings and Customer Service by calling +46 31-400 100 You will need to show valid ID. Ask our staff for assistance
If you have questions, comments or need information, come and see us at Guest Services. You’ll find us at the North Entrance and the South Entrance. You can also collect ride passes for attendants here (a valid certificate is required).
