Current information

The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority (SHK) is investigating the fire on Oceana. A final report is expected to be ready by mid-February 2025, but today, on September 27, they are presenting a probable cause of the fire and a likely sequence of events.

SHK does not address questions of guilt or responsibility; the sole purpose of the investigation is to improve safety.
