Handy to know

Soppgirobygget, Tix, Fjellrev & Kuselofte

Russ music, a subgenre of electronic dance music, often blends techno, hip-hop and elements of rap. The term "russ" comes from the Norwegian student tradition where graduating students celebrate by travelling in so-called russebusses while blasting party anthems known as russelåter.

The evening kicks off at 6 PM, with entry to the concert area from 4 PM.

Tonight’s line-up, in order of appearance:

  • TIX
  • Kuselofte
  • Fjellrev
  • Soppgirobygget

Soppgirobygget

The Norwegian super duo Soppgirobygget have had a truly explosive rise in recent years. With megahits like “Afterski”, “Domen”, and “Kjøpe Hele Sverige”, they've dominated the charts and become a household name within the russ music scene. With over 200 million streams and more than 300 performances across the Nordics, they’ve built an impressive track record. Their recent smash hit “Viva La Vida” spent the summer in the top 10 and became one of the most streamed tracks of the year, with over 22 million streams. Known for their electrifying live shows and infectious energy, Soppgirobygget’s concerts often erupt into crowd-wide singalongs. In 2025, their russ tour makes a stop in Gothenburg – and at Liseberg.

TIX

Behind the fur, sunglasses and headband of TIX is 27-year-old Andreas Haukeland from Bærum. He first rose to fame in 2015 with the party anthem “Sjeiken”, and his debut album “Dømt og Berømt” remained on Norway’s VG chart for over 70 weeks. Widely recognised as the “king of russ”, TIX has since expanded his musical range. In 2018, he released the hit “Shotgun” and gained international acclaim as co-writer of the global smash “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max. Today, he’s a beloved figure across Norway, with numerous TV appearances – most recently as a judge on Norwegian Idol.

Fjellrev

Fjellrev has made a name for themselves as top performers in russ and party music across both Norway and Sweden. Their breakout hit “Jeg vil ha (parlamentet)” has amassed over 20 million streams since its 2024 release, reaching #1 on the Norwegian charts for two weeks and peaking at #8 in Sweden. They followed up with several hits, including “FOREVIG (feat. TIX)”, which entered Norway’s top chart at #3. With over 50 shows in 2024 alone across both countries, Fjellrev shows no sign of slowing down – 2025 will bring even more new music and a packed tour schedule.

Kuselofte

Hailing from Oslo, Kuselofte helped launch the wave of Norwegian EPA-dunk that took Sweden by storm. Today, they boast over 400 million streams. Over the years, they’ve travelled across Scandinavia delivering unforgettable shows.

With crowd favourites like “Dominanten 2018”, “Genom Dalarna”, and “Om Sverige vinner VM”, Kuselofte is synonymous with party vibes and singalong choruses.

In 2025, with several sold-out shows already under their belt, they’re bringing their full energy to Stora Scenen – and it’s bound to be a wild ride.
