Liseberg are very proud to present one of Sweden’s most successful and acclaimed artists – Thomas Stenström – who this summer will take over Stora Scenen for two long‑awaited concert evenings in a row.

– Thomas’ music continues to evolve and broaden all the time. It feels both an honour and completely natural to welcome him for two evenings with us at Liseberg, says Johan Gummesson, artist booker at Liseberg.

Thomas Stenström began his career in 2012, but it was two years later that he made his major breakthrough with the hit “Slå mig hårt i ansiktet”. With the albums Rör inte min kompis, Fulkultur and the acclaimed Spring baby spring, the Uddevalla native firmly established himself as a true audience favourite. In recent years, he has lined up sold‑out tours, topped the charts and received multiple nominations and awards. With songs such as “Ser du månen där du är ikväll”, “Andas in, andas ut” and “Gråter om du vill”, he has reached both a broad mainstream audience and a loyal fanbase strengthened by his personal lyrics and explosive stage presence.

– Liseberg is sacred ground for me; my childhood is in every corner of that park. So I’m not lying when I say I can’t wait – for BOTH concerts – hand me the guitar! says Thomas Stenström.

Concert tickets

Concert tickets for this summer’s performances on Stora Scenen cost SEK 75 each and can be booked at liseberg.se. In addition to the concert ticket, you will also need an admission ticket or an annual pass to Liseberg Park.

In partnership with Svensk Live, the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education and various festivals, organisers and performers, we support everyone’s rights to their own body and their own sexuality.

At festivals, clubs – and everywhere. Dare to Care is primarily about creating a social culture that advocates communication, mutuality and consent in sexual relationships. In practice this involves working to establish norms and values and provide practical safety measures together with organisers, as well as talking to audiences at venues.

Through the Greentopia initiative, stakeholders in live music, the sports community and Swedish cities have formed an alliance that is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of events.

We have joined this alliance, and together with other members of Greentopia we will actively work to reduce the climate impact of our own events and strive to encourage visitors and other stakeholders to contribute to the goal of making cities climate-neutral by 2030. Our focus is on food and drink, transport and textiles.
