Since his breakthrough with the debut album Vilja bli (2010), Oskar Linnros has forged a distinctive expression on the Swedish music scene. With a style where soulful chords meet reference-rich productions and a rap-influenced language, he has helped set the direction for modern Swedish pop. His songs often move in the borderland between the deeply personal and the universal – stories that begin in his own experiences but resonate with a broad audience.

Oskar Linnros’s path has been unusual. For long periods he has completely stepped away from the spotlight to write and produce for others, only to return with renewed energy as a solo artist. He is now current with new music. Tomorrow, Friday 22 May, the album Det högsta ljud jag hört will be released – his first album in nine years – making this summer’s performances long-awaited opportunities to experience the material live.

On 6 August, Oskar Linnros takes to the Stora Scenen – one of Sweden’s most influential pop artists. The audience can expect a spectacular evening where well-known songs meet new material – and where the intensity and presence that have become Linnros’s hallmark take centre stage on a vibrant summer evening in Liseberg Park. The evening opens with LKN – the acclaimed pop artist and producer from Heby who has quickly built a loyal following with his summery pop sound and personal lyrics.

Concert tickets for this summer’s performances on Stora Scenen cost SEK 75 each and can be booked at liseberg.se. In addition to the concert ticket, you will also need an admission ticket or an annual pass to Liseberg Park.

At festivals, clubs – and everywhere. Dare to Care is primarily about creating a social culture that advocates communication, mutuality and consent in sexual relationships. In practice this involves working to establish norms and values and provide practical safety measures together with organisers, as well as talking to audiences at venues.

We have joined this alliance, and together with other members of Greentopia we will actively work to reduce the climate impact of our own events and strive to encourage visitors and other stakeholders to contribute to the goal of making cities climate-neutral by 2030. Our focus is on food and drink, transport and textiles.
